We are delighted to inform you that we are reopening Crosier Village after our temporary closure last week due to Covid! Our confreres feel great, and we eagerly await seeing you. The Priory Church of the Holy Cross in Phoenix will host its regular in-person worship services beginning this Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022—which coincides with “Word of God” Sunday! The Third Sunday of Ordinary Time was designated by Pope Francis as “Word of God” Sunday to highlight the centrality of the Bible in the formation and deepening of our faith. Thanks be to God!
For those of you who will be attending Mass in person, please bring your bibles as a special blessing will be given in commemoration of “Word of God” Sunday. If you celebrate with us via our YouTube live stream
, please have your bibles at hand, as well, for the blessing.
As always, we remain committed to following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of all who visit the Crosier Village campus. As we gather again in person for prayer services and Masses, please review this important information:
- Crosiers will wear masks during all public worship services and gatherings inside and outside of Crosier Village on Sundays. We respectfully ask that everyone who visits our campus on Sundays also wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
- Hospitality will not be offered after Sunday Mass at this time.
- If you or a loved one are ill or have been around anyone who is ill, please stay home and rest.
We look forward to seeing you in person or online this Sunday at 8 a.m. (English) and 10:30 a.m. (Bilingual) AZ Mountain Standard Time! May God continue to bless and keep you safe.
