Collaborative interfaith dialogue promotes mutual respect and faith-sharing

The Crosier Fathers and Brothers were part of a collaborative team with the Sema Foundation in organizing a special event held Jan. 8 at the Diocese of Phoenix’s Diocesan Pastoral Center in Phoenix. Joining them in this special effort were members of Temple Solel and Temple Chai.

Nearly 140 people who attended “Peoples of the Book, a Christian, Muslim and Jewish interfaith dialogue” participated in educational conversation and celebration of their diverse Scriptures. They learned from believers of these three Abrahamic faiths about their Holy Books and shared in discussions of how they view the human dignity in their Scriptures and practices.

Participants made new friends, built relationships, gained deeper insights and celebrated diversity with one another.
