I am saddened to report that the COVID-19 virus has made its way through our Crosier community in Phoenix. Each of us have quarantined ourselves and we are continuing to follow the recommended safety protocols.
The safety and well-being of everyone we serve is of the utmost importance to us. In that spirit of concern, we suspended the distribution of Communion and other special public rituals during Advent.
Unfortunately now we must also temporarily suspend the live streaming of our worship services until we have fully recovered. This pains us deeply as technology has allowed us to continue our mission to touch suffering with hope. Though we are not able to gather in prayer as a community for the time being, please know that each confrere is praying for you and for all.
We are so grateful to all of you for worshipping with us online. As soon as we are able to resume the live streaming of our liturgical celebrations of the hours and Mass, we will post another announcement via email, Facebook, Twitter and our website.
In the interim, we invite you to pray with us the special prayer below invoking the intercession of our patroness St. Odilia. It was written by Fr. Jude Verley, osc, at the beginning of the pandemic in March but still holds true today.
May God bless and keep you healthy and safe.
Fr. Tom Enneking, osc
